William Wong is a local business owner, martial arts instructor, and community leader who brings decades of leadership, mentorship, and service to the Downtown Lincoln Association.
As the owner and Master Instructor of Lincoln Family Martial Arts Academy, located in the heart of Downtown Lincoln, William has spent much of his career helping children, adults, and families develop confidence, discipline, character, leadership, and respect. With more than 50 years of martial arts experience, his commitment to teaching goes well beyond martial arts. He believes in helping people become stronger individuals and positive members of their community.
William's commitment to service also extends outside his academy. Over the years, he has been involved in nonprofit leadership, youth mentorship, and community organizations, including serving on the Board of the Eureka Schools Foundation.
Serving Downtown Lincoln
As President of the Downtown Lincoln Association, William brings the perspective of both a community leader and a business owner operating within Downtown Lincoln.
He believes a thriving downtown is built through collaboration between local businesses, community organizations, residents, and the City. His leadership with the DLA is focused on strengthening those relationships, supporting local businesses, and creating opportunities that bring people together in Downtown Lincoln.
William brings many of the same values he has taught throughout his martial arts career to his work with the DLA: leadership, discipline, respect, accountability, and service to others.
For William, serving on the DLA Board is another opportunity to invest in the community he and his business call home.
