Santa’s Workshop in the Plaza Returns to Downtown Lincoln

Every December, Downtown Lincoln transforms into a festive destination for families, neighbors, and local shoppers. Santa in the Plaza has become one of the Downtown Lincoln Association’s most cherished annual events, bringing together holiday cheer and community connection in the heart of our city.

This year, the celebration takes place on December 20 in Beermans Plaza. Families can enjoy free photos with Santa, gifts for kids, crafts, face painting, and a special visit from Santa’s reindeers. The event is completely free to attend and is designed to create memorable holiday experiences for children and adults alike.

Santa’s Workshop is more than a fun holiday outing. It also supports local businesses by encouraging families to explore and shop downtown. Visitors who come for the event often stay to dine, browse, or pick up last minute gifts from Lincoln’s small businesses. These moments of local support make a meaningful impact, especially during the holiday season when small businesses rely on community engagement.
